The Foundation limits its grantmaking to Broward County in Florida and the state of Vermont.

Who Should Apply

The Foundation makes grants to public entities and IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations which are not classified as private foundations. The Foundation also looks for organizations that do not discriminate in the hiring of staff or providing of services on the basis of race, age, sex, national origin, religion, disabilities, ancestry, marital status or sexual orientation.

How to Apply

Applicants MUST contact a Foundation Program Director PRIOR to a formal submission to discuss their project/program idea. If the idea is a potential match with the Foundation’s funding priorities, the Program Director will meet with the applicant to discuss the project/program. Typically, the Program Director will work with the applicant to prepare a proposal and will provide the applicant with the required application materials. The complete application can be submitted electronically and will include the Application Form, Proposal (not to exceed three pages), the Project Budget, your IRS tax exempt status letter (no more than 5 years old), and other required documentation.
